OpenAlchemy has evolved from several earlier attempts/experiments at building platforms for handheld devices. In some senses, it is the fruition of efforts at determining what is an appropriate platform for touchscreen enabled devices far removed from the desktop bound computing devices.
In this section we hope to bring forth some of the design rationale of OpenAlchemy into perspective. In the process we hope you will be able to appreciate and correctly utilize/exploit the OpenAlchemy Design Rationale.
